• Global Temperature Change WebGL is an experiment that tries to illustrate how global temperatures on earth have changed between 1850 and 2016.
• The data is generously provided by UK Met Office Hadley Centre for Climate Change
• There is a data point for every 5 degrees of latitude and longitude
• If the temperature in any year for a point is cooler relative to a 1961-1990 reference period, the square is colored blue; if the temperature is warmer, the square is colored red. The more intense the color of red or blue, the greater the difference to the reference period
